The English emblem !

rose_1_I think we must start with the English emblem , of course !

St. George and the Rose . The national flower of England is the Rose. The flower has been adiopted as England's emblem since the time of the Wars of Roses -civil wars ( 1455-1485 ) between the royal house of Lancaster ( whose emblem was a red rose ) and the Royal house of York ( whose emblem was a white rose ) .

Good gracious me !
Another typing mistake , I am sure niquette won't be pleased !

Last sentence :
"come will come " , the first come must be erased , of course !

Of course the word was " adopted " !
About the date , I was a bit absent-minded !
Some people are so " perfect" and some are so " imperfct" , this is why they are so charming ! ( smile ).
It is true this blog might be a bit slower than the other one , but all this come will come on time !

You've decided to write in English and it's a very good idea.
But you are not allowed to make mistakes either in spelling or in typing. Please, tell me what "adiopted" means (cf The English Emblem on March 12th : by the way, why do you write the date in French ?).
The rose, the thistle... What about the leek and the clover ?
It smells rugby and I like it ! Thank you and good afternoon.

I didn't know about "war of rose" too, I am happy to know about now!
best regards
